In 2021, states introduced over 400 bills in 46 states attacking the freedom to vote. These anti-voter laws threatened to restrict voting access for 1 in 3 Americans, disproportionately impacting low-income and historically marginalized voters amidst the mis- and dis-information from the COIVD-19 pandemic. With voter suppression efforts seemingly running wild, Gutsy Media partnered with Represent Us to develop Transmission from the Future with Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, raising awareness for the Freedom to Vote Act and urging voters to call their senators and protect our right to vote.
